Un nouveau parc à thème axé sur le thème de Jurassic Park va voir le jour à Dubai: Restless planet!
Le projet va coûter 1, 1 billion de dollars!!! 
Vous pourrez y découvrir 109 dinosaures animatroniques de plus de 40 espèces différentes et cela sur 5 hectares de terrain!!!
Ceux-ci sont construitst au Japon par Kokoro Dreams (Un des leaders mondiaux dans la fabrication d'animatronics) en partenariat avec le Natural History Museum de Londres et du Dr Jack Horner (paléontologue de renomée mondiale qui a conseillé Steven Spielberg pour Jurassic Park)
Le parc devrait ouvrir ses portes en juin 2009

NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM - Consultants for the Restless Planet Dinosaur Theme Park
The Natural History Museum of London is one of the world’s best known and successful museums, attracting over 3.3m visitors in the past year. With their collection of over 70m biological and geological specimens, their team of 350 scientists, and their history of scientific work going back 125 years, they are pre-eminent in their role as advisors to the Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group in their efforts to create the Restless Planet. They will ensure the scientific accuracy of the animatronic dinosaurs that Kokoro are producing (see below), and see to it that the latest findings in dinosaur research are brought to public notice in Dubai. They have included in their team, Dr Jack Horner, the famous palaeontologist who has been advising Stephen Spielberg on the “Jurassic Park” series; Furneaux Stewart, Architects; Jack Rouse Associates (see above) and Economic Research Associates.

KOKORO COMPANY LTD - Makers of Animatronic Dinosaurs
Kokoro have been manufacturing models of dinosaurs, and making them increasingly active and lifelike since 1978. They are the leading makers of robotically-controlled animatronic dinosaurs and over 500 of their creations can be found all over the world, ranging in size from the 22m long Apatosaurus down to baby raptors.
(Kokoro is taken from the Japanese word for the “heart” or “spirit” which gives life to inanimate things.) Kokoro now make dozens of species of dinosaur, all of which are as scientifically accurate as possible. Over 250 of their models can be seen in the Dinosaur Adventure Park in Saitama Prefecture in Japan, and over 100 animatronic dinosaurs are being made, representing 34 different species, for the Restless Planet.

JACK ROUSE ASSOCIATES
Jack Rouse Associates are among the most innovative designers and developers of visitor attractions in the world. Their work includes museums, zoos, theme-parks, sports arenas and visitor centres. The company specializes in all aspects of master planning, exhibit design, and project management. They have been commissioned as part of a team which includes the Natural History Museum of London, the architects Furneaux Stewart, Kokoro of Japan, and Dr John R (Jack) Horner, the famous palaeontologist and adviser to Stephen Spielberg for the Jurassic Park films, to design and build the Restless Planet dinosaur theme park, which will include the world’s largest collection of animatronic dinosaurs.

ECA2
ECA2 was founded in Paris by Yves Pépin in 1974. After working as a graphic designer, specializing in interactive audiovisual programmes, M Pépin turned to multimedia shows. In 1989 he created and patented the process of cinema on water-screen (ACQUASCAN), which has been adopted by Disney, Universal Studios and several other large corporations.
His list of achievements is long, and includes spectacular displays at the Osaka Expo ’90, the Universal Expo ’92 in Seville, the opening ceremony for Euro Disney, the ’98 World Cup opening and closing ceremonies,and the Eiffel Tower Millennium Show. He has over 40 such shows to his credit in the last 15 years. Eca2, which is part of the Publicis Group, has been commissioned to create the show in the Restless Planet Dome.

The Mack Company has a 225 year history: it was founded in 1780 in Southern Germany by Paul Mack who specialized in building carriages and stage-coaches. By 1880, the company had progressed to making caravans for traveling showmen and circuses, and in 1920 they began to build rides for funfairs. Je ne pense pas qu'on arrive à ce niveau de réalisme, mais par contre, on peut compter sur le arabes pour être à la pointe de la technologie!!!
